Our story. Your next chapter.

Rooted in Georgia.
Growing in Ecuador.

Lanier Soccer Association is a soccer organization based in Gainesville, Georgia. Founded in 1999 when local clubs and independent teams in Hall County came together, LSA has spent more than 25 years helping players and families connect learning, competition, values, and opportunity.

Through Recreational, Academy, and competitive programs, LSA supports players at different stages of their development. Our experience in U.S. youth soccer—including MLS NEXT, DPL, NAL, and SCCL—inspires this next chapter in Ecuador.

LSA Ecuador shares that same purpose: helping each player grow on and off the field, with respect, responsibility, discipline, and a lasting love for the game.

Ecuadorian soccer · Passion, development & possibility

Developed in Ecuador.
Making an impact worldwide.

Ecuador’s soccer story begins at home—with local clubs, dedicated coaches, proud communities, and young players who dream of representing La Tri.

From neighborhood pitches to professional academies, the country’s soccer culture connects a love of the game with the daily work of development. Clubs such as Independiente del Valle and Liga de Quito have helped players build the foundations for careers beyond Ecuador. Their journeys show how local training, competitive opportunities, and long-term commitment can lead to the international stage.

A generation that made history. Ecuador finished third at the 2019 FIFA U-20 World Cup, defeating Italy in the bronze-medal match. That achievement offered a powerful example of the country’s emerging talent. Read the FIFA story →

LSA USA → Ecuador

Taking our players
and teams to Ecuador.

LSA USA wants to give our players and teams the opportunity to travel to Ecuador and compete against Ecuadorian teams.

Our connection to professional soccer

LSA Ecuador’s professional Second Division team

LSA Ecuador has a professional team in Ecuador’s Second Division, connecting the club’s player development vision with senior competition. This presence is part of the soccer community we want our USA players and teams to experience.

A bridge in both directions

Soccer connects our communities.

Our vision goes beyond training. Through sports and cultural exchanges, Ecuadorian players can explore new training methods, compete in different environments, and gain experiences that contribute to their growth on and off the field. We also aim to create opportunities for players and coaches from the United States to travel to Ecuador, share their knowledge, and experience a different soccer culture.
