Lanier Soccer Association-Gainesville is proud to be part of the National Academy League (NAL)—a top-tier platform designed for elite boys’ teams in the U13–U19 age groups. With over 50+ premier clubs and 400+ teams nationwide, the NAL delivers unmatched club-vs-club competition focused on both college exposure and professional development.

What Makes NAL Elite?

High-Level Competition

  • Built on the foundation of excellence, NAL clubs include many current MLS NEXT member clubs (non-MLS-affiliated).

  • Teams compete against top-tier opponents across Georgia, the Carolinas, Alabama, and beyond.

  • Organized by conference, with flexibility to grow and adjust based on coaching and developmental needs.

Season Structure

  • U13–U14: Fall + Spring (8-month season)

  • U15–U19: Fall-only (4-month season)

  • 3 training sessions per week led by licensed coaches.

  • Games split 50/50 between home and away venues.

College & Pro Exposure

  • Regular participation in major college showcases including:

    • IMG Cup College Showcase (Florida)

    • Regional events across the Southeast

  • Compete in the National Academy League Championship – June 2025

  • Professional scouting opportunities throughout the season.

Travel & Commitment

Travel is required—players should anticipate overnight tournaments and weekend games. Families will receive a travel schedule early in the season to plan accordingly.
